D810 - l'affaire du "thermal

Les premières séries du D810 souffrent d'un défaut lors d'exposition longue (white dots/bright spots)

Le firmware C 1.01 (non disponible en téléchargement) et une intervention dans le boitier permettent de résoudre (partiellement?) à ce problème.

Un point noir à cet endroit indique que l'appareil à été révisé.

We have received a few reports from some users of the Nikon D810 digital SLR camera indicating that noise (bright spots) are sometimes noticeable in long exposures, and in some images captured at an Image area setting of 1.2× (30×20).

After looking into the matter, we have determined that some noise (bright spots) may on occasion be noticeable when shooting long exposures, and in images captured at an Image area setting of 1.2× (30×20).

Nikon service centers will service these cameras that have already been purchased as needed free of charge to the customer. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

Identifying affected products
To check whether or not your camera is one of those affected by this issue, please click the Affected Product Serial Numbers link below and enter your D810’s serial number as instructed. Your camera’s serial number will be checked against those of affected products. If your camera is one of those affected, you will be forwarded to additional instructions. If your camera is not one of those affected, you may continue using your camera without concern for this issue.

2 ans après le D800, voici le D810. Une évolution en douceur qui corrige certains points.

Du D800 à l'OMD-EM5

Comme l'a dit quelqu'un sur un forum, le meilleur appareil est celui qu'on prend avec nous.

Une petite analyse de la situation:

- poids du D800 et surtout des objectifs, flash, accessoires

- recherche continue de la perfection dans la netteté

m'a fait changer d'appareil. Je me suis tourné vers l'Olympus OMD-EM5

Le capteur est tout petit comparé à celui d'un full frame mais ses capacités sont intéressantes.

71 points au test DXO, c'est beaucoup moins que le D800 (95) mais toutefois plus que mon "vieux" D300 (67)

Les points qui m'ont fait choisir cet appareil:

- Le poids relativement faible (425g) et l'encombrement minimal est un soulagement pour le dos.

- La capacité en vidéo est meilleure que le D800 pour une utilisation de type amateur (focus sans bruit par exemple).

- Tous les réglages sont presque possibles. L'aspect technique est tout aussi sympa que le D800.

- rafale de 9i/s

- écran orientable

- objectifs disponibles et prix plus modéré que la gamme reflex (bien que les derniers objectifs ...)
